Sunday, August 9, I checked one more stadium off of my Stadium Chase list when we went and saw the Dodgers take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field in Phoenix.

August 8 – 21, 2026
Upon my return to Tucson on August 10 after my trip to Phoenix, our stay began in earnest.
August 7-8, 2026
With a 12 hour drive from Almont to Tucson looming, we decided to split the long drive into 2 days.
But, where to stay?
July 31 – August 7, 2026
After spending an entire Summer month at home (which is unheard of for us,) we made our way back out for the first of many disjointed, disconnected and disparate trips for the remainder of this Accidental World Tour.
This stop would see us on the Western Slope of Colorado.
I’m starting to sense a trend here…
June 23-27, 2026
After stopping for the night in Dodge City, KS, I made my way on to the Jemez Mountains just outside of Albuquerque for what was supposed to be a nearly week-long camping trip.
Supposed to be.

A short week and a half after our kickoff to the Accidental World Tour of 2026 in Portugal, I departed for a week-long solo camping trip in the Jemez Mountains. On the way, I stopped in Dodge City, Kansas, and did not regret it.
June 8-15, 2026
Even after our trip to Cabo for the first Blue October Into the Ocean getaway, I was hard pressed to call us “world travelers”. Mexico is barely international travel.
Now, however…
After vowing to scale back our travel this year as we were planning on attending both of the Blue October getaways, the summer one in Portugal and a return to Cabo in the fall, we quickly made liars out of ourselves.

After a 4+ hour drive home from Verona, WI, I was home long enough to swap suitcases, load Brandy and Ash up in the car and we were on the road for another 4+ hour drive to St. Louis.
