May 21, 2023 Brandy and I took a trip to the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines way back in May. It certainly isn’t the ABQ BioPark Zoo, but I still enjoyed it.
Thanks to Iowa’s bipolar weather, the hike we had planned for today didn’t happen. It rained all day yesterday likely making the trail too muddy for us. But the day wasn’t a total loss.
August 14, 2021 I didn’t really have much of a plan today, aside from going to the zoo, but it turned out to be quite an eventful day.
