Villages of Van Buren County Scenic Drive Festival

After a one-week break with no activities, we picked right back up the following weekend for a trip to southeastern Iowa for the Villages of Van Buren County Scenic Drive Festival with Craig and Sue.
Breaking State Lines

Albuquerque

Cave City, Kentucky

After a wonderful day in Salem, Massachusetts, we made the rest of the lengthy drive to Cave City, Kentucky, through some of the most beautiful country we’d seen up until that point.
And I sure did feel fall coming.
Rail Explorers, Bluegrass Division

Rail Explorers is a company that utilizes disused railroad lines, outfitting them with large, electric-motor-assisted pedal cars that can seat two or four. They have six locations throughout the US including in Cooperstown, New York, and Boone, Iowa. When I found out there was a location near our stay in Kentucky, I put it on our to-do list.
Mammoth Cave National Park
