After over a month in Iowa, the weather finally gave me an opportunity to get back on the trails. Certainly wasn’t the best hike I’ve ever been on (by a long shot) but I was happy to get my legs under me again.

Here it is at the end of March and I’m just getting around to posting about our Christmas trip to Iowa.
When I first started this website, I lived in New Mexico with no plans to leave. I built my To-Do List based on the idea that I would be having my adventures in and around New Mexico.
The problem is, I don’t live in New Mexico any more.

But the day wasn’t a total loss.
Well, well, well. Here we are in Iowa and I’m about to make my first outing since the move.
Well, we made it, and what an adventure it was.
