For the first time ever, I will be camping solo.
August 27, 2021 I hiked at the top of Albuquerque on Friday.
One of the things I haven’t talked about a lot on this blog is my physical condition. So let’s talk about that.
August 21, 2021 I’d passed the10K trailhead a bazillion times before on the way to Sandia Crest. I’d always assumed the 10K meant it was a 10 kilometer trail, but only recently did it dawn on me that it because it starts at 10,000 feet. Doy!
August 15, 2021 I’m a glutton for punishment, I guess. After Friday’s outing to Bandelier National Monument, followed by a morning-long outing to the ABQ BioPark and Old Town, I decided to push my aching legs on a near-6 mile hike.

July 17-19, 2021 Jarrod’s birthday is in July, he’s as big a Dodgers fan as I am, and they just happened to be playing the Colorado Rockies the weekend after his birthday. I figured that would be a perfect birthday gift.
